Rumi Education Wins World Education Award 2012 for Best Innovation in Pedagogical Practices
New Delhi, 24 July, 2012 - Rumi Education, an education solutions company that is dedicated to transforming the quality of education provided in schools, corporate office at New Delhi/Gurgaon has received the award for “Best Innovation in Pedagogical Practices" at World Education Summit 2012.
The award was presented by Subodh Kant Sahay, Union Minister for Tourism, Govt. of India. Sharbari Purkayastha, Head – Product Development at Rumi Education along with some members of the Rumi team received the award on behalf of the company. Rumi Education’s Pre-primary curriculum was chosen from among fourteen other short-listed programmes. The nominees were judged both by a panel of education industry experts and public voting system.
The Rumi Pre-Primary Curriculum with Active Teaching is a complete end-to-end pedagogical system that ensures optimal learning outcomes. This system adopts a scientific approach to make the teaching-learning simple and therefore easy to implement. This standardized curriculum helps the school achieve uniformity in the usage immaterial of the level of teachers and / or students. Since the curriculum is process based it also enables for monitoring and evaluation of the teaching-learning outcomes.
